So, I finally got a chance to see the little tyke, and thought that I should not come empty handed.
My first toy gift for Jordyn was the Discovery Ball by Leapfrog. Take a look:
I feel proud to be giving a learning toy to the little gal, but after playing with it for five minutes myself (who am I kidding, it was for probably more than twenty), I can definitely see who when she figures out how to use it, ma and pa may end up just taking the batteries out…
Jordyn is now 7 pounds 14 ounces. She grows more every day. It is strange to think that she has gained 3.5 pounds since she was born 3 months ago.
So, Lewis and Dana took Jordyn to get her RSV shot today, purely as a preventative measure. They also got her weighed, and she’s now up to a staggering 7lbs, 4oz.
I just wanted to let you know that the PO Box problems we wrote about earlier have been fixed with the post office. So, if you’re interested in learning more about the Trust and possibly donating, just click here or use the link on the left-hand side.
For those of you who have sent donations for the Jordyn Hope Trust, we would like to thank you and apologize for the returned mail. We are working with the post office to get this straightened out. Please check back here soon to know when the PO Box has been fixed.

Just a quick little note that there’s a new way that you can access this blog…JordynHope.com. By the time that you read this, all of the DNS should have propogated around the internet…if it’s not working for you yet, give it another day or so.
Today Jordyn ended up going with her mom and dad and grandfather back to CHOP for a doctor’s visit (don’t worry, everything’s ok).
On the way back, they stopped at The Olive Garden for dinner, and it was really Jordyn’s first experience in a place that wasn’t the hospital, the car, or her house. I’m told that she pretty much slept all throughout dinner (my kind of gal) and later had her own dinner courtesy of her mom.

A new trust fund has been set up for Jordyn. The parents are asking for any donations that you can make. For more information, read on about that Jordyn Hope Trust.
Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve had a lot going on in my life too. But, that’s not too interesting from a Jordyn perspective….back to the girl of the hour.
Jordyn finally came home on Thursday. The one day delay was mostly due to a rescheduling of her car-seat test.
Now that she and her parents are home, we should be able to get some updates directly from them.
In other oddity news, I recently found out that if you search on just the name Jordyn with MSN Search, this blog is the seventh result. Go figure, right?
We pride ourselves here at Wolosky.net with our accuracy and humor. Therefore, I feel its necessary to make a correction to an earlier posting of mine. Due to some miscalculations, we incorrectly reported Jordyn’s increase in weight. She hasn’t quite passed the 5lb mark yet. She’s actually at 4lbs 10oz.
In other news, it’s possible that she’ll be going home on Wednesday. (My) mom is getting the car seat base installed in Jackson tomorrow by the Jackson police department, and then she’ll be driving it out to the hospital where they’ll be checking to see if Jordyn is stable enough to survive the car ride home. If she is, then she’ll get to go home with the new parents on Wednesday until her next scheduled surgery!
